London is famous for its property prices, frequently ranking within the top 10 most expensive housing markets in the world, on par with Paris, Sydney and New York. As per Zoopla, the average London property sale price in the last 12 months (April 2022-2023) stood at £732,176 with the average detached home coming in at an eye watering  £1,318,185 in the same period. This is still shy of the of the most expensive postcodes in the city, which all command average asking prices in the multi-million pound range. Below are the top 10 most exclusive postcodes in London based on sale price data from Foxtons over the last 12 months.
